Rudy and Amy Stauffer walk through the remains of their Wildcat Canyon Road home on May 22, three days after a wildfire destroyed it. The U.S. Forest Service last week admitted the cause of the fire was a prescribed burn the agency set three days earlier that grew out of control. The Stauffers face an uncertain time frame for when a potential claim for their property damage could be fulfilled. Erin McIntyre â Ouray County Plaindealer
