A Ridgway cross country athlete is asking the school board to reconsider the district’s decision to split off from the combined regional team of runners. The decision was announced in March.

On March 17, Ridgway Athletics Director Shawnn Row sent an email to parents announcing the split in the team for the coming fall cross country season. He cited the growth in the number of teammates and the logistics of traveling to and from Ouray for practice.
