Tax receipts in March in Ouray offered a mixed bag, with sales tax revenue continuing to climb to new records but lodging tax revenue dipping as the city heads into its busiest months of the year.

The $155,803 collected by the city in May — reflecting March sales activity — was 6% more than the $147,036 collected during the same month last year.
