My husband and I have lived on Government Springs Road since 1997. I want to thank the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management for their recent efforts to extinguish the Simms Fire, which started last Monday as a prescribed burn by the USFS. Their job is hard, and their dedication is admirable.
