Work on paving North Lena Street in front of newly built condominiums is expected to start in June under an agreement between the town of Ridgway and the developer.

Lena Commons, LLC will pay for 60% of the cost, and the town will cover the remaining 40% of the project to excavate, reconstruct and pave that section of the road.

The Town Council voted last week to award a bid to Ridgway Valley Enterprises, Inc. for $864,784.75.
