Insufficient child care in Ouray County is forcing families to travel outside the county for care, cut back working hours and stretch their budgets, respondents to a recent survey said.

Bright Futures, the Early Childhood Council for Ouray, Delta, Montrose, San Miguel and San Juan counties, conducted the study this spring in partnership with a local working group and Ouray County.
