U.S. Highway 550 between Ouray and Silverton will close intermittently over the next three weeks to allow San Miguel Power Association to finish clearing trees around its power line.

The Colorado Department of Transportation this week issued the traffic permit SMPA needs to shut down the highway from May 2-6 and May 9-13.
