A Log Hill resident is asking county commissioners to place a ballot measure before voters – to require a buffer zone between marijuana grow operations and residential areas.

The request comes amidst a continued conflict between Log Hill neighbors and a marijuana business as well as a moratorium on considering new marijuana operations licenses, which the commissioners adopted more than a year ago as the county starts revising its ordinance governing these businesses.
