County attorney asks for help
Ouray County Attorney Leo Caselli is asking for more help with the county’s legal affairs, citing a heavy workload and a need for assistance with potential litigation.
Caselli, who started work in November, told commissioners he is working an average of 50 to 70 hours per week, and his workload is maxed out. Meanwhile, the county has continued to engage former county attorney Carol Viner since he was hired, paying her more than $20,000 for her services.
