After more than a year of planning, the roof was removed from the old jail in Ridgway on Friday, the first step in taking apart and relocating the building. The jail, which was built in 1908, will be disassembled, packaged and moved to the Ouray County Ranch History Museum, where it will eventually be rebuilt.
