The Ouray County Plaindealer won 13 awards in the four-state Society of Professional Journalists’ Top of the Rockies contest last weekend.

The Plaindealer, competing in the “small newsroom” category against print, online and broadcast media outlets in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, received six first-place awards, five second-place awards and two third-place awards.
