It’s a little late this year, thanks to repeat snowstorms the first 22 days of March, interwoven with a few warm 40- to 60-degree days. Even the astronomical first day of spring, the 20th, saw damaging east and south winds (44 miles per hour) usher in a two-day storm that evening.
