Work on U.S. 550 runs through April 8

Motorists should give themselves extra time traveling between Ridgway and Ouray through the end of next week as Colorado Department of Transportation crews perform maintenance along a six-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 550.

Crews will perform crack-sealing operations between mile markers 100 and 94 through Friday, April 8. Crews will start at the north end near Ridgway and work south toward Ouray.
