Candidate seeks to enhance housing, arts

In her short time living in Ridgway, Nicole Johnson fell in love with the town.

After one season in Breckenridge turned into eight years there, she came to the San Juans in 2019 for a job in Telluride. Not long after, she made the move to Ridgway, got involved in property development and decided to run for Town Council.

“I always say my job is to make the world smile,” she said. “And I want to help the town stay a town.”
