Congratulations to Tyler George, Dayna Kranker and Jeff Davis on their new roles as trustees on Silverton’s Town Board. Because there were no write-in candidates submitted by the deadline on March 17, the current board held a special meeting last Thursday where they voted on a resolution instructing the town clerk to cancel the election and elect these three candidates. The transition from the current board to the new board will happen at the April 11 meeting.
