Animal medical program aims to grow
As soon as they emptied the can of fish on the ground, Lisa Knight saw the cats pouring out from under the double wide trailer.
“There must have been 50 of them,” she said.
She grabbed five kittens that were pretty friendly, putting them in a cat carrier for the trip back to Ridgway from Loma. Helping to rescue the animals, get them veterinary examinations and have them fixed so they couldn’t produce more litters was her way of helping the situation.
