We Silverton athletes, parents, and coaches regret the Ridgway school board’s decision to separate Ridgway’s cross-country team from the Ouray-Ridgway-Silverton alliance that has served the three schools well for many years. Had we known what was at stake, and when, we would have explained our support for the alliance before the decision was made.
