Teachers in both Ouray and Ridgway schools will make more money next year, after the districts approved raises.

This week, the Ouray School Board also agreed to let teachers count the professional development they do within the district toward pay increases, something teachers have promoted for years. The changes come as Ouray is bracing for high turnover at the end of the school year, with 11 open positions already advertised.
