Ouray County Public Health may increase gift card incentives to $100 in an effort to improve COVID-19 vaccination rates, especially among school-aged children.

Public Health Director Tanner Kingery is currently offering $25 Amazon gift cards to anyone who gets any vaccine dose, but he said he’s looking into offering $100 gift cards to people who get their first dose. The gift cards are paid for by a grant the county received as part of the West Regional Healthcare Coalition.
