State of the River March 16

The Colorado River District and the Ouray County Water Users Association will host a Ouray County State of the River meeting at the Ouray County 4-H Center in Ridgway next week.

The free event runs from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 and is open to the public. It includes a fajita dinner catered by True Grit Cafe.

Presentations and discussions will cover the hydrology and water supply forecasts for the Uncompahgre and Gunnison rivers, a look at local water studies and water storage, river issues and...
