Paying more for gasoline a small price to pay to harm Russia
Dear Editor:
Eighty years ago American forces along with our allies were fighting dictators trying to take over independent peoples in Europe by force. Millions of Americans were on the battlefield, many making the ultimate sacrifice to protect democracy from Hitler’s and Mussolini’s war machine.
On our home front, factories that had been making automobiles and home appliances were quickly transformed to manufacture the thousands of tanks and airplanes needed to fight the enemy. To control inf...
