This newspaper has once again neglected to lay out all the facts regarding County Road 5 and San Juan Huts’ lawsuit. Let’s be absolutely clear. The landowners had no choice but to form the road association and plow the road themselves. There are costs every year. The county required it in order to make a deal. At any time San Juan Huts could have joined the association and contributed to the cost of the ski trail. The county wants nothing to do with the road. Except to contro...
