Riverfront project costs rise
Ridgway’s efforts to make housing affordable in a new development will likely still put units out of reach for those who can’t afford to spend roughly $500,000.
The Ridgway Town Council approved a development agreement Feb. 9 with Alpine Homes-Ridgway, which is planning to build more than three dozen residential and commercial units between Highway 550 and the Uncompahgre River, north of the stoplight.
