Ridgway Elementary students might get out of school a week earlier than planned for summer break, to allow demolition to begin on the school building for renovations.

Elementary Principal Heidi Hanssen asked the school board’s permission to send out a childcare needs assessment to parents if the school opts to release students early. This would allow teachers to move out of the building ahead of the demolition, which is scheduled to start the last day of class.
