Board seeks date change for county fair

Ouray County’s fair may be held earlier in the summer if county commissioners agree to a decision made by the new fair board.

The board unanimously agreed to request a date change for the 2022 Ouray County Fair at a meeting this week. The board will draft a formal letter to the Board of County Commissioners requesting the change in dates from Labor Day weekend to Aug. 11-13.
