Ouray County commissioners have decided not to pursue an indoor mask mandate, citing new advice from the physician advising the county, who originally recommended the mandate.

A work session scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 27 will still be held with officials from Ridgway, Ouray, the county’s school districts and local business organizations, but will instead focus on discussing resources and protocols in the different jurisdictions.
