We’re here and we’re running for office.

That’s the message spoken on the Ouray County Courthouse steps during campaign announcements for the majority of the local positions up for election in 2022.

The candidates gathered for a joint announcement on Friday, declaring their candidacy.

Sheriff Justin Perry, Treasurer Jill Mihelich and Assessor Susie Mayfield will be seeking re-election.
