Dear Editor:

I read the Jan. 6 Denver Post listing property tax increases up to 20% on the Front Range, including Colorado Springs and the mountain resort communities on Interstate 70.

The San Luis Valley and Duran go areas had their property taxes decline because the property values decreased.

The next line made me chuckle because it said that on the Western Slope everything stayed the same except for Montrose, Ouray and San Miguel counties and they increased by 20% also. It is a great sellersR...
