Ridgway council moving to virtual meetings

Ridgway will resume holding virtual meetings next week, due to the surge in COVID-19 cases.

Town Manager Preston Neill announced the change, starting with the Jan. 12 Town Council meeting, at a multi-agency coordination meeting with county officials Wednesday. The council has been meeting in-person, with an option to participate remotely, since last summer.

The Town Council will also consider requiring masks in all town facilities at the Wednesday meeting, Neill said.
