Ten percent of all Ouray County COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began have come in just the last 10 days, including more than 50 during an after-Christmas surge. 

Emergency Manager Glenn Boyd said Friday that 53 new cases have been reported since Monday. Of the 609 total cases reported in the county since March 2020, 63 of them, or 10.3%, have come in the last 10 days and are considered active cases.
