December 30, 1971 – Marvin Gregory had a painful accident last Wednesday while working with a power saw, and has now joined the club of butchers, carpenters, etc., who are minus fingers or parts thereof. Marvin’s grandson was helping, while they worked with the saw. When Marvin turned to make sure the boy was safely away from the saw it caught his own fingers, removing a joint from two on the left hand and cutting the thumb and another finger.
