The city of Ouray will end 2021 hauling in a record amount of sales tax revenue for the second year in a row.

The city this month raked in more than $246,000 in receipts from October sales, an 8% increase over the same month last year. That boosted its year-todate total for the first 10 months of the year to $2.52 million, a 38% jump over the $1.83 million reported in the first 10 months of 2020.
