A trial for a local businessman accused of sexual assault has been postponed again, extending the three-year-old case into 2022.

The latest delay came after new details surfaced in the case, which stems from a December 2018 report accusing John Warren of raping a 23-year-old woman who was drunk and had taken sleeping pills after going home with him. She had consensual sex with him earlier in the night but said she told him to stop later when she was unable to fight back.
