Ridgway man arrested in fatal crash

A Ridgway man has been arrested in a case stemming from a fatal accident in September in Wyoming.

Barrie Bloom, 68, was arrested at his home at 1030 Charles St., on a warrant from Rock Springs, for alleged homicide by vehicle.

Bloom was the driver of a Sprinter van that crashed into two people riding a motorcycle the morning of Sept. 8, in Sweetwater County. The accident left Steven and Emma (Darlene) Powell dead at the scene. Both were wearing helmets.
