COVID cases climb after holiday
After nearly a week with only one new COVID case, Ouray County reported eight new cases Monday, which Public Health Director Tanner Kingery attributed to Thanksgiving festivities.
“This may be just the tip of the iceberg,” he said.
“Yesterday, we got slammed pretty hard,” Kingery told Ouray County commissioners Tuesday, with eight confirmed and two suspected new cases. “I think we’re starting to see some of the fallout from gatherings from Thanksgiving,” he said.
