How a mangy Hobo found a home with us
In 2018, a cat showed up in our courtyard. He sat by the door meowing. Sandy opened the door and he marched in like he owned the place. We explained to him that we didn’t want cat hair on our Sunday-go-to-meeting clothes, and escorted him outside. He was neutered and was wearing a collar. We figured he belonged to a neighbor. We petted him but never offered him food, thinking he would go home.
