Utility rates are expected to increase again in Ouray in 2022, as city officials plan to begin construction next spring on new wastewater and water treatment plants.

The Ouray City Council on Monday unanimously approved on first reading an ordinance that would increase costs for sewer, water, trash and recycling services by $22.43 per month.
