Dear Editor:

I would like to redress the political cartoon published in last week’s Opinion section.

In the era through which we are currently passing; one of constitutional fragility fraught with political rancor and the struggle to chart a path to truth. Where gossip, innuendo and willful ignorance are becoming acceptable traits in the American character; one would have hoped that the Small Town Atmosphere and Quaint Nature of Ouray would shield us from such behaviors.
