Mask rules change at Ouray School
Ouray School has revised its mask policy, allowing high school students to remove them while in classrooms due to higher vaccination rates.
As of Friday, 83.3% of all high school students and 87% of staff and students combined are vaccinated against COVID-19, Superintendent Tod Lokey said.
Masks are now optional for all high school staff and students in classrooms, though they still must be worn in hallways, common spaces and other areas. Masks are still required in lower grades.
