September 16, 1971 – Federal Resources Corp. has found ore at two new locations at the Camp Bird lead-zinc-silver mine at Ouray, according to Nels W. Stalheim, president. Stalheim said a new deposit known as the Gordon ore body, has been located by seven diamond drill holes, the most recent of which was of unusually high grade ore.
