Two new housing developments in Ouray are moving forward with plans for more than a dozen new units on the city’s north side, both with stated goals of providing rental housing for local workers.

The Planning Commission approved a sketch plan for the 1900 Main Street Planned Unit Development, with three manufactured homes and one single-family dwelling. The owner of the property, which includes the former Biota building, is planning to put the four small units on the southern end of the lot.
