Foundation awards grants to local programs

The local Ouray County Community Foundation has awarded $10,000 to local organizations. The Ouray County Public Library’s Recovery and Resilience building program and the Voyager Youth Program’s Peer Mentors for Youth Mental Health and Recovery received the grant funding.

The larger Western Colorado Community Foundation also awarded $110,000 in grants for recovery and resilience in youth. The grants were spread across 18 different organizations, and the foundation serves seven countie...
