A woman in her 60s who was camping with a group of people in Blaine Basin last week had to be rescued after taking a “misstep” and injuring herself, according to Ouray Mountain Rescue Team Capt. Ruth Stewart.

Rescuers were called around 4:45 p.m. Aug. 25 after the incident happened during a multi-day camping trip to the area just north of Mount Sneffels, Stewart said.
