Think before impairing property rights
Dear Editor:
In response to Rob Carrick’s defense of a “vacant house tax,” I offer three thoughts.
First, my parents moved to Ouray in 1952, and lived here the rest of their lives. I was born in 1953, in the hospital that is now the Ouray County Museum, and I lived here continuously until I went off to college in 1971.
