Resident influx a boon for fire department
Drew Berger walked around the house, glancing into windows before miming shutting off electricity and gas, calling into his radio after each step.
A few moments later, he started jogging back towards the fire truck, his heavy gear weighing him down.
“Don’t run,” Log Hill Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Stephanie Mason called after him. “You get tunnel vision when you run.”
