Redistricting commission meets in Montrose, GJ Friday
The Joint Colorado Independent Redistricting Commissions will hold public hearings in Montrose and Grand Junction on Friday to take public testimony about the preliminary maps for the state’s eight congressional districts, as well as the 65 state house and 35 senate districts.
The commissions will meet at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ute Indian Museum, 17253 Chipeta Road, in Montrose, and at 7 p.m. in the Colorado Mesa University Meyer Ballroom, 1100 North Ave., in Grand Junction.
