Locals most affected by periodic flooding of Corbett Creek where it crosses County Road 17 approve of a design plan developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, according to a citizen speaking for himself and his neighbors at a work session last week.

Laszlo Kubinyi has dealt with flooding issues over the decades he has lived near Corbett Creek and spoke at a work session July 21 in support of the design plan.
