The city of Ouray will host a pair of informational meetings Aug. 3 for candidates considering running for City Council this fall. The mayor’s seat and two council seats are up for election.

The meetings will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Ouray Community Center San Juan Room.

Aug. 3 is also the first day a nominating petition may be picked up.
