When Taylor Morgan walked around the corner of her house with her coffee cup in hand on Monday morning, she wasn’t expecting this.

A mountain lion lay under her daughter’s bedroom window, next to the house.

A construction worker had notified her of the cat, which he noticed and hid from until he realized it was safe.

“He said, ‘By the way, you know you have a dead mountain lion here, right?’” she said.
