Water fights promise to be a blast
It’s not exactly a showdown at high noon. But it’s close.
At 2 p.m. Sunday, the legendary water fights of Ouray return to the corner of Sixth and Main.
You might think this is just a crazy competition where competitors blast the heck out of each other with fire hoses gushing streams of water.
But it’s more than that, especially for those who have generations of competitors in their families and a title to defend.
